After much prayer and reflection, we feel led by God to raise $126,000 for six new generators to ensure our camp remains a place where worship is uninterrupted, warmth is constant, and community thrives.
Running Springs, CA, is a beautiful mountain community, but it also faces unique challenges. Due to the elevated fire risk in our area, Southern California Edison (SCE) frequently implements Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) during extreme weather conditions, such as high winds, low humidity, and dry vegetation. These shutoffs are a precautionary measure to prevent wildfires but can disrupt essential services at camp, including worship, meals, and heating.
